Thai drafting committee continues to debate provisions on parliament.  Thailand’s Constitution Drafting Committee has decided to drop the controversial open-list poll system from the draft constitution, which was criticized for being overly complicated, and will instead move forward with a single constituency system. The committee further decided that the senate will be comprised of both directly and indirectly-elected officials; it plans to finish revisions by the end of July.
